Stephen Torres is an international entrepreneur, educator, and speaker with a career spanning consumer products, technology, renewable energy, entertainment, academia, and finance. He has founded two startups that were successfully acquired and played a key role in another that went public. Currently, he is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Ellerra, a firm providing financial intelligence to startups and private businesses, and also mentors founders through his firm, The Compendium Group.

Passionate about building entrepreneurial leaders, Stephen has taught and coached innovators across industries. He has served as an Industry Fellow and faculty member at UC Berkeley, teaching entrepreneurship and leadership courses, and was the host of the Berkeley Innovation Podcast. He holds an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, an MBA from Cornell, and a Master of Science from Stanford.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Stephen enjoys traveling the world, watching movies, and sharing delightful dining experiences with friends.
