Meet Diva — entrepreneur, community builder, and President of Stanford Young Alumni Bay Area. We asked Diva to share her entrepreneurial insights with our community, drawing from her journey across healthcare, venture capital, and AI-driven initiatives. Here are a few excerpts. For the full interview, visit our Alumni Association site here.
💬 What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned as a founder?
“I’ve learned that running lots of experiments is the best way to figure out what truly works in the market. Don’t be afraid to try new things and pivot when needed.”
💬 What should someone know before building a startup?
“Experiment at every step, especially with the economic incentives of all stakeholders involved. Break your product into small tests and get real feedback as soon as possible. Keep your team lean until experiments work.”
💬 What’s been the most surprising challenge in your journey?
“Balancing multiple paths — from healthcare to tech to community — while staying focused on what truly drives impact.” (Adapted from her multi-domain journey and reflections)
💬 What’s a mindset or habit that has helped you succeed?
“Put your automatic, repetitive tasks on autopilot. With AI advances, you can finally do that — so aim for 110%.”
